SW Comic Con Guests

June 25, 2009

Nerfherders Anonymous has listed SW guests who will be appearing at Comic Con this year. I already knew Mark Hamill will be signing for Official Pix, but in addition, all of the major voice actors from Clone Wars will appear in some shape or form. James Arnold Taylor will appear and sign autographs at the Fan Club breakfast, and Dave Filoni will appear at the breakfast and the Lucasfilm presentation. Everyone else will at the very least appear at the presentation.

If they’re all signing too, I will be one broke fangirl!

Lucasfilm Spectacular To Air On G4

June 25, 2009

The “Lucasfilm Spectacular,” the annual Lucasfilm presentation at Comic Con, will air for the first time on television this year. Cable network G4 will air the presentation on Saturday July 25 at 2 p.m. ET/PT, preceding a live feed from the convention beginning at 4. I’m guessing the presentation will take place on Friday as it always does, but will air on Saturday. The hosts of G4’s Attack of the Show will anchor the presentation. They have all kinds of cool stuff this time around, including a table read of a Clone Wars script featuring everyone from the show!

Maybe you’ll even catch me on camera ;).

Yours for only $49.95. Check out a short interview with Drake (as well as a preview of the artwork) here. Next up in the series…Padmé Amidala.

EU Cantina’s Speculation on CW Season Two Footage

June 23, 2009

A few days ago, EU Cantina posted its own speculation on the Season Two preview shown at Disney SW Weekends.

Let me just say that it’s perhaps a bit too much to call this mysterious Duchess of Theed (not a queen) Obi-Wan’s “love interest.” She might have the hots for him, but somehow I think Obi-Wan is gonna walk from this with his virtue intact, heh heh. There’s a rumor somewhere that this babe’s name is “Satine,” obviously a goof on Nicole Kidman’s character from Moulin Rouge. (I guess she dies from tuberculosis then…) I’ve also read speculation that it’s actually Sabé, one of Padmé’s former handmaidens. Won’t that please the Sabewan fans out there ;). We’ll just have to see.

I love the idea of having a SW marathon with every holiday ;).
