Comingsoon.net reports that the theatrical Clone Wars trailer will debut on May 9 with the live-action version of Speed Racer:

ComingSoon.net has learned that Warner Bros. Pictures is currently planning to reveal the trailer for Star Wars: The Clone Wars in theaters with the studio’s own Speed Racer on May 9th. We are uncertain at this point when the trailer would debut online, though studios usually bring trailers online that same week.

How about a message board?

March 26, 2008

Recently, I’ve thought about setting up a message board on proboards. It will be of course tightly monitored and limited to members only. But I figure it will be a great forum to discuss the PT and related issues, as well as get things going on t-shirts!

What do you think? What categories and stuff would you like to see?

Check out this amazing post about Anakin looking to others as his lighthouse. Here’s a sample:

Palpatine shone his light bright into the ocean of the Force for Anakin to see so that Anakin would not crash and burn before he was ready (pardon the pun). He wanted Anakin to stay in the rough waters in the dark of night so that he would not truly see the way of the Jedi and follow the Order, instead of the Sith. He knew by goading Anakin with his lies and promises of saving others from death that he would keep him at bay and bring him in to his own port. He fed Anakin’s desire for protecting the ones he loved and achieving a power like no other and churned the waters even further for Anakin, to the point that he didn’t even see Palpatine’s lighthouse anymore, as he expressed his desire to rule the galaxy with Padme. Which made his crash into the rocky shores of the lava river on Mustafar even more devastating for him.

New Disney Exclusives

March 23, 2008

Just in time for this year’s Disney SW Weekends at Walt Disney World, though I’m sure the merch will also be available at other Disney parks, EndorExpress.com has posted what collectors can look forward to. There will be an Indiana Jones Mickey Mouse figurine, a set of Muppet characters dressed as OT SW characters, and of course, some PT-themed collectibles as well. This year we’ll see a set of Disney character figurines in PT garb including Goofy as Jar Jar, Mickey as Anakin, and Minnie as Queen Amidala; some SW racers, cars in the style of various SW characters; and for the girls, a Polly Pockets-like set with Padm√© and Leia.

Also, Disney has a new playing card set also featuring various characters in SW mode. Gotta love Daisy Duck as Aurra Sing!
