The interview with Revenge/Anticipation author Jonathan L. Bowen is done but I will wait until after New Year’s to post it, since many people are away from their computers.
Also, after the New Year, I will work on setting up a page on Facebook.

It’s soooo easy to bash Jar jar, and dis 1-3, actin like the OT is so much better. Guess what, it’s not. There I said it……….
And you know who agrees with me? All my non-fan friends, who I made sit through 1-6, last year. Outside the internet community, and pop culture pundits, the average fan, like the PT the same or more than the OT.
There’s a terrific fan site called Star Wars Locations, where people visit various real-life locations used in the SW films and send in pictures.
Last month, some lucky soul visited Seville’s Plaza de Espana, which was one of the locations used in AOTC (the plaza Anakin and Padmé walk through after they arrive on Naboo). I visited this location back in 1997, three years before AOTC was shot. All of the older parts of Seville, known in Spanish as “Sevilla,” looks very Naboo-esque. It’s a very cool city in any case, one of my favorite locations in Europe.

Say howdy to CG and lighting supervisor Andrew:
Here’s the amazing true story of how I was recruited to appear in The Sci-Fi Channel’s Episode 1 Unauthorized: The Phantom Menace in 1999.
Back in April 1999, SW-mania was at a fever pitch with TPM’s release only weeks away. I got a phone call on Easter Sunday from a young man who was a producer of an upcoming SW special for Sci-Fi, or what was then called The Sci-Fi Channel. He wanted to know if I was interested in coming up to New York the following Sunday to tape a panel discussion on SW.
Meet Pouchon:
The French Star Wars Réunion convention from this fall featured a skit where apparently Padmé’s spirit pleads with Vader and there’s a great lightsaber/martial arts sequence featuring a Jedi, Darth Maul, and Asajj Ventress. Obviously, the whole thing is in French:

The Star Wars Episode I Collectors Photo Database was launched in 2006 with the daunting goal of including every item ever officially produced to tie in with TPM. Even if you’re not a collector, you know the sheer amount of stuff that filled the stores 1999-2000. There are scores of categories ranging from 12″ Scale Action Figures to Video and DVDs. A great resource for anyone trying to complete a TPM/character-focused collection, although the database is faaaar from complete:
