Funko said a few days ago on Twitter that it is going to “explore the prequel era” in its Smuggler’s Bounty boxes:
@bmckniff We’ll probably go back to exploring the prequel-era in our Smuggler’s Bounty boxes!

Here’s some cool PT art.
For those of you who collect the Timeline game, Asmodee Spain is going to release a prequel edition.

Star Wars: Galactic Defense Developer Diary – Part 1 on Disney Video
The Star Wars: Galactic Defense game developer diary shows that they are going to use prequel era settings/characters.
And action figure collectors might want to keep an eye out for Jango Fett.

Those posters are INCREDIBLE! Do they have them for the OT and TFA?

Those eyebrows on Jango are making me laugh. Plus they don’t follow the contour for eyebrows on the sculpt…well either way he’s mine.

That is beautiful art!

That’s funny. I was just looking at Jango Black Series online today. I’ll certainly be hunting that one down. Actually, I’m really wanting some of the Japanese lifelike Star Wars figures. Face sculpts blow the Hasbro stuff away.

The prices are a bit insane😵, but I agree, they are gorgeous figures.😆😆😆

You know it. Prices are ridiculous! Around $300 for a 12″ figure of the Hot Toys line which are the best. I did see some 6″ versions that look really good that are closer to $100, but still… It’s like the Robotech (Macross) stuff. Japanese variable fighter valkyries over $300. I got a great one for $150, back when the prices were lower. Can’t find a deal any more.

Just to inform you that Galactic Defense has been released for quite some time. That making of video is also a bit old.

But still- just published: “Although Disney doesn’t have a massive visual presence in any of the Star Wars material, it is Disney that has masterminded the creative process, with the appointment of the director and the way it has been merchandised. And therefore it has reinforced Disney’s brand,” said Mr Haigh.” So on top of everything else Disney loves to brag about themselves…..he also said he “shrewdly” negotiated the cost of the buy out with George.

The Brag-Effect appears to fall upon whatever the company purchases. In a terrible Marvel special from fall 2014, the producers patted themselves on the back for how “great OUR movies are”. Oh, and although they don’t brag as much, Pixar has become what they tried to not be by having director/studio conflict over “creative” differences (such examples include removing the man who thought up Ratatouille from his project, promoting Branda Champman down to co-director of Brave, and the whole Good Dinosaur issue as well).

Also just a reminder the second issue of Obi-Wan and Anakin comes out Wednesday.

You won’t believe the article IGN just posted on the PT…
Opinion: Erase the Prequels, Keep Darth Maul

I just wish we could erase IGNorant. 😎
February 2, 2016 at 3:39 pm
I think we need t-shirts: IGNore the IGNorant.

You would think after TFA the media could finally give prequel bashing a rest. Nope. They couldn’t convince everyone that TFA was great so they have to brainwash people into haters – it’s not working.
February 2, 2016 at 6:07 pm
Seriously, this is the second prequel bashing article I’ve been to where I scroll to the comments and the readers are rolling their eyes and saying that at least the prequels had originality compared to TFA.

You can’t spell IGNorent without IGN. IGN is nothing but a bloody brony/weeaboo site. There articles are always doo-doo tier.
Their :FillInTheBlank: is showing. You would think they would point out the flaws of Fanservice awakens, but no they bash the PT for no reason.
It seems the only way the haterboys won’t bash something, is if it is just a blantent carbon copy of the OT. Worse even that they refuse to see JJs abomination for the flaws it clearly has.
This is one if the reasons, I wish the war of the world aliens would show up and once they see the stupidity of the haterboys (and other crap), the Martians would immediately leave and say “this planet is too much of an embarrassment”. But I’m tempted to make a thread bashing ESB and TFA on there.
Edited for content. No language that can be construed as a threat. Plus I don’t see the point at all of being a basher yourself. I still love TESB even if I don’t agree with the pedestal it’s on.

omg there are gonna be prequel-era Funko Pops? EXCELLENT. I wanted a Qui-Gon one so bad I was thinking of just making one of my own
