Save The Lars Homestead has been a fan-run project to restore the igloo-style building that doubled as the Lars homestead on Tatooine in the Star Wars saga. (The underground/pit part of the Lars homestead, the Sidi Driss Hotel, is apparently doing just fine.) They are trying to raise $22,760 by July 15 through pledges and if you pledge at least $77, you get an awesome watch filled with real life honest to God sand from the Mos Espa set, scooped up when the group visited last year.
