Flash animation: an idea whose time has come again apparently. At :55 you can catch a glimpse of Anakin and Yoda.

I do wonder if this Forces of Destiny mini-series will be a one-time thing.

It is interesting to see how Disney pushes its own SW characters to the forefront. That is their prerogative, of course.

I feel the need nitpick a bit when it comes to this preview. I obviously do not know the context, but when the woman (from Rebels?) is trying to figure out if it is “Princess Leia” or “General Leia” and the response is something to the effect of “just Leia”, I feel like that is a misunderstanding of the purposeful formalism of Star Wars. For example, Luke refers to the vile and sinister Palpatine, a man who turned his father into a evil cyborg, as “Your Highness” even after becoming a Jedi. This formalism is important in setting the GFFA into a “more civilized” time of knights and ladies ect. Even in the OT, the language tends to be formal in many places. I feel like Han and Leia refer to each other mostly by title.

Say what you will about disney pushing their new characters, seeing Padme rocking that AOTC outfit, a changelin (is that Zam?!) in her Coruscant apartment, Ashoka and a glimpse of Anakin and Yoda, as well as a glimpse of a Naboo N-1 Starfighter and a Droid Control Ship, just made me nuts after such starvation of good Star Wars content. Forces of Destiny is by far the disney SW project I am most excited about, even if it is just an animation. I also like how the design style, including the Prequel content, is based of the Movies and not The Clone Wars TV show and Rebels. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love TCW, It’s just that I am sick of haters using a TV show that was birthed out of Attack of The Clones to bash the actual movies. Also, the fact that Maz narrates it makes it all the more cooler and injects some much needed continuity in the new canon. she was like a glass of water in the middle of hell in the force awakens when she showed some awareness of the past, mentioned the Sith and said: “This lightsaber was Luke’s, and his father’s before him” I think Kasdan needs to take some history lesson’s with her, the natural numbers start with I, not IV.”

Really quick, Jennifer Muro, the head writer for Forces of Destiny just responded to questions about if we’ll get a Padme doll on Twitter. She said that we’ll have to ask Hasbro if we’ll get a Padme doll, because Jen Muro has nothing to do with why there’s no Padme doll, as of this point.
