“Oh, Ani! My bones are aching. Storm’s coming up Ani, you’d better get home quick!” I just loved her character, minor characters in Star Wars were so well made. Even though she only appears in a quick moment, she’s so memorable and made the scene more life-like and entertaining.

Holy God, just read she was born in rio de janeiro and moved to England at the age of 5. Glad she did, “probably would’t have lasted long around here anyway”

If there are any “POLDARK” fans, I found out that she was the mother of actor Clive Francis, who was one of the stars from the 1975-77 series.

One of those minor characters that did a lot with a little. You wanted to see more of her. She was sort of Ani’ s Obi-Wan, before he met the actual Obi-Wan.

We all love these friendly flea market sellers with their delicious, home baked raisen bread and fresh fruit. Sure, she was also probably selling worthless, broken macrobinoculars and cheap, off brand comlinks…but she sold them with pearls of wisdom.

I always thought she would show up again to offer help and free citrus slices. Any deleted scenes?

there’s a scene where anakin says good bye to her before leaving tatooine their being followed by one of darth maul’s probe droids qui-gon takes it down easily and knows their being followed he tells ani they need to run which is why their running to the ship in the film it’s on the dvd and i’m sure it’s on blu-ray as well
