I Am Shark To Release AOTC Vinyl

Remember I Am Shark, the small purveyors of TPM’s soundtrack on vinyl?  Yeah, I finally got my disk a couple of months ago.

Anyway, the same company is releasing AOTC’s soundtrack on limited edition vinyl.  Limited to only 1000 copies, it will look sweet right next to that retro turntable you picked up at Urban Outfitters.

Is it going to be the complete soundtrack or the same as on spotify that doesn’t feature any of the camino music and a bunch of other cool stuff?

It’s the same 2002 version. I Am Shark has the full track listing.

Yeah it’s the same one as on spotify, none of the camino music except Jango’s escape. Missing a lot of other classic parts of that soundtrack too that I love. This is just like a greatest hits or whatever, not the complete soundtrack. Too bad.

Had to laugh over this one. I already have a turntable and plenty of vinyl records to play on it – whole collections too. Had my stereo for years! Sure am showing my age, aint I? LOL 🙂

I’m old enough to remember listening to this album back in the day in its original digital form. Thems were the days….

That’s neat packaging with exception of the records themselves.

The music of AoTCs & RotS has a wide array or otherwordly scope and ambience with such verve. Late Masterworks of John Williams & both embody the full potential of the two film experiences conceptionally abit more consistently than the other theatrical elements combined to maybe 🎶

I found RoTS a tour de force of a musical album of highs and lows & was just around the time i started to prefer vinyl, & AotCs as amore jazzy compliment in a classical conceptual sense, both with decent dashs of the advant garde (some of RoTS could be on a Tangerine Dream Krautrock album for example). Have thought for years would like RoTS on vinyl after realised what a cool experience it was as a musical album on it’s own merits (Just an amazing collage of composition and sounds) & RoTS fan but AotCs could be nearly as transportively good as well, i remember liking the cd alot at the time hmmmmm …..👂

I don’t understand why Disney/Lucasfilm doesn’t put the complete soundtracks of AOTC and ROTS somewhere… There are TCW and Rebels tracks on Kevin Kiner’s website, the whole TFA soundtrack is on a Disney Youtube channel… So why not release these old tracks ?

Maybe Sony still has copyrights or something like that ?
