Awesome TPM Bootleg Figures

Who wouldn’t want these knockoff figures under their Christmas tree or for Hanukkah?

While a couple of figures got the name right, the rest have hilarious goof ups like “Fly-Gone-Gin,” “Glorious Star Lord,” “Toby-One,” “The Emperor Daft Serious,” and “Upright Slug.” Poor Anakin is re-christened “Little Girl.”

Update:  Eddie tweeted that he has these figures and they do not have the laughtastic names on the packaging.  Could it be a hilarious hoax?  Check out the bootleg Jar Jar photos here.

They probably mis-named the figures on purpose. Less of a chance of getting sued that way. LOL

Don’t forget that most toys are made in China, and most people who would have access to molds would be in China, and Chinese bootlegs in particular have a notorious reputation for hilarious mistranslations.

Ah yes, we can never forget that the true Phantom Menace…

    ….was Dennis.

Those foreign bootleg toys are hilariously bad. “Space Wars”! Ho ho!

It’s a shame that The Phantom Menace Holiday has had no updates in well over a year. I used to enjoy reading its regular posts.
