Seasons of the Force

Disney/ABC might have blown off the prequels during Sunday’s American Music Awards when it had a segment celebrating John Williams’s Star Wars music but Disneyland’s new Seasons Of The Force fest, designed to give visitors a little taste of the upcoming Star Wars Land, show that the prequels haven’t been totally shuffled off into obscurity:

It’s refreshing to see that. Actually there was a recent video (

In witch Disney’s approach was much better and there was no prequel bashing!!!!

I think they are beggining to realise the mess they’ve made when they bashed the prequels to cater for a small group of nerds at the expense of most fans. The prequel bashing marketing campaing was never meant for the general audiences but to deceive the small group of haters into thinking Disney is doing everything for them. Those prequel bashers may think they’ll win, but the fact of the matter is that as a prequel fan I can walk into a toy store and see a beatiful Lego droid tank with a Jar Jar Binks minifigure sitting on its canon, just like in 1999’s The Phantom Menace, This is a toy released in 2015! Take that prequel haters!!!!! I am a Lego fan and I love the fact that they and other toy companies keep putting out tons of amazing prequel toys all the time. There are tons people who loves this movies and buy them. So much for “nobody likes the prequels”. Lego Darth Maul Sith Infiltrator, Lego Naboo Starfighters, 2015 sets: Take that haters!!!!

Disney knows how to deal with $$$$ and this tactic will only villify most Star Wars fans. I bet they won’t go foward with this, everything will be set straight one way or the other. Prequel haters can’t sustain Disney.

No prequel bashing, but only two blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shots from Clones, ONE from Sith, and NOTHING from Phantom. And the only time they were mentioned as being a part of Star Wars is how they led to Clone Wars which led to Rebels.

Yeah, better than bashing, but just barely, and no sign in my eyes that they regret the rug-sweeping.

When I had last visited Disneyland during the Veteran’s Day holiday, I could only find one or two items related to the Prequel Trilogy. I had also noticed that the posters behind one of the cashiers inside The Star Trader shop only featured the OT movies and TFA. I had pointed this out to the cashier . . . probably in a slightly abrasive manner.

That battle droid lamp is genius! I need one (no, make that four) of those.

To comment on ur Seasons of the Force article, not everything PT was abandoned by Disney/ABC if you watch this video from Jimmy Kimmel Live:

    That’s Anakin’s Eta-2, not his Delta-7B.

I would not get my hopes up. Per multiple sources there is little in the way of Prequel representation in Seasons of the Force… in fact almost none with the exception of a couple of models at Launch Bay.

Also to make matters worse the Tomorrowland Theater 10 minute movie “Power of the Force” uses the non Special Edition version of the Vader redemption scene from Jedi. He does not turn on the Emperor and say “Noooo” as Luke is struck by Force Lightning.
