Prequel Parodies of SDCC Video Reel

Check out Yancy’s video responding to the SDCC TFA promo reel with a little creative editing of his own:

And if you haven’t seen it yet, this is Morgan Cherney’s video called The Pegg Edit based on an idea from Paul McDonald:

Lol thanks again for the share

    Great videos.

It’s good to get the facts out without stooping to the haters level.

  3. Hunk a Junk Says:

Nice job, people! The SDCC reel was designed to drive home one message to fans: “NO GEORGE LUCAS!!!!” Sadly, no one at Sad Robot or NotLucasfilm has the bocce balls to actually say it.

Hoppe everyone enjoyed the video. I will be releasing a Special Edition later to correct some editing, and make some audio tweaks. But spread it around asmuch as possible. We are at about 2,300 views so far.

It would be great if t those videos were sent to JJ Abrams, Kathleen Kennedy and Disney.

I could just imagine their reaction.

My vid’s nothing compared to Yancy’s. Paul had mentioned on his blog that someone should replace Pegg with Jar Jar or a Midichlorian, and I was just like “…gimme about 10 minutes”, lol. As well as inserting a pair of obvious points on my own.

Oh I Tweeted them to @starwars a few times, and a number of people retweeted that tweet. Given that my video, which I really expected to only have a couple of hundred views is well on its way to over 4,00 views (at 3800 today), and counting, I’m sure some lowly social media underling running the @starwars account probably clicked the link and saw it.

    At least that’s my dream…
