A Trifecta Of Terrific Reads

On Clone Corridor, there are a couple of essays worth reading.

Juli Witte’s J.J. On Jar Jar…Why? nails exactly what I think about Abrams “kidding” (or was he?) about putting a dead Jar Jar in TFA during an interview with Vanity Fair. Couldn’t have said it better myself!

A second article discusses fan-made saga tribute videos.

On FarFarAway Radio’s opinion page The Resolute, there’s Why Are We Still Apologizing For The Prequels, addressing an issue that drives me nuts…people who feel like they have to point out perceived flaws with the prequels before saying anything good about them.

Those are all great, though I’m sad that comments are disabled on the last one.

Yes, the J.J. article was good. Speaking of Jar Jar, starwars.com has an article about a Jar Jar Binks pez dispenser. It’s really interesting.

Tmblr’s Prequel frames had a post on JarJar too.
Whoever’s making it, if you’re reading this. it’s AWESOME!

Always having a softspot for underdogs, this is an excerpt that killed me:
In Revenge Of The Sith, the only two words he’s allowed to say are “Excuse me”. Excuse me for being here, excuse me for being different, excuse me for not fitting the Empire’s way…… The Empire doesn’t recognize each individual’s value, the Empire destroys individuals and expects unanimity.

    Remind you of something…? 😉
