Hondo To Appear On Rebels?

It appears so, based on an interview Hondo Ohnaka voice actor Jim Cummings gave to Full of Sith’s/Big Shiny Robot’s Bryan Young at FanX in Salt Lake City.

Given there are just a handful of episodes left for Season 1, I’m guessing this might be for Season 2 or possibly even 3.

SO MUCH YES! I can’t wait for this! (though I don`t know how they`d pull it off).

I’m curious as well. But if the Rebels crew can randomly run into Lando, I’m siure they can randomly run into Hondo in some seedy cantina or backwater world.

As big of a Clone Wars fan as I am I’d rather they kept The Clone Wars specific characters separate. It’s like they cancel the show but want to use the characters. No thanks in this droids opinion.

now we need Ahsoka to show up!

Well Tarkin makes a great appearance in next week’s episode (which is outstanding and has a definite Clone Wars vibe).

Yes, I loved Tarkin’s grand “entrance” into the show.

The most recent two episodes have been a step up for sure.

However, I still would vastly prefer to see TCW characters stay well away from Rebels. For one thing, any “conclusion” given to them in Rebels would be half-hearted and anticlimactic; it would be plainly obvious that this would not be what the TCW alumni would have done originally.

For another, it would distract from the story of the new characters. Having this reminder of what could have been with the prematurely cancelled TCW would just overshadow enjoyment to be found in Rebels.

It actually seems like Rebels could be the most enjoyable SW thing coming from Disney in the future.
