Star Wars Saga In Digital?

JediNews, while in the process of digging up dirt on TFA toys, found a list of goodies in the form of action figure box sets and LEGO sets from the released six films due out May or June. They believe these products will tie-in with a rumored release of Eps I-VI in digital format this spring, meaning you’ll finally be able to watch Star Wars on Netflix, Apple movies/iTunes, etc..

  1. M. Marshall Says:

I’m excited for the idea of the saga being on Netflix along with The Clone Wars (while were at it, let’s include every tv special and cartoon from the 80s and the 2003-’05 Clone Wars). I’m pissed off with the fact that NOT ONE FEMALE CHARACTER is represented in the action figure collection. What gives Hasbro? Is this another habit of Disney’s to ignore female characters in traditionally male franchises?

    • Hunk a Junk Says:

Disney won’t ignore female characters in their male franchises. They need at least one per franchise to pose on the poster with their firm, round butt facing out in a skin-tight outfit!

    • Tarrlok Says:

It’s conceivable that the B1, B2 and IG-88 have “feminine programming”, though that’s reaching a bit.

However, this is par the course for Disney, which seems to think Star Wars is just a male counterpart to its princess line.

    • Nobody Says:

Yeah, wow. Not even slavegirl Leia or battle-torn Padme? Yeesh, are their priorities not straight.

  2. Liz Says:

Yay! Yay! Yay! I’ve been waiting for this for forever! I really hope we actually get purchasable, downloadable editions of the saga (and hopefully in individual film format, because I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to afford a whole saga “bundle” or something at once).
