Flashback Friday: Bruce Spence In “The Road Warrior”

Character actor Bruce Spence, who played Tion Medon in ROTS, has had a ridiculously long career that goes back to at least 1970. One of his better-known roles was as the crazy pilot introduced in the sequel to cult favorite “Mad Max,” “The Road Warrior.” It’s also one of my all-time favorites.

Spence turned up again in “Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.”

He’s also in The Legend of the Seeker. I really liked that show. They couldn’t save it even though the first two seasons had a lot of fans.

  2. Adam D. Bram (The Nilbog) Says:

Spence was in Three “Part 3″s within three years of each other: Matrix Revolutions (as the Train Man), Return of the King (as the Mouth of Sauron; sadly cut from the theatrical, but reinserted into the Extended), and, of course, RotS.

He was also Chum, the THIRD shark in Finding Nemo, also from that time period. COINCIDENCE?!?!? Probably.
