Ahmed Best Interview

I’d heard about this interview a while ago, but it wasn’t until today that TFN posted a link to Entertainment Weakly’s chat with Ahmed Best. It’s an informative read and I have to say, even with all of the totally unfair bullcrap dumped on Best and on his alter ego (much of it I could blame on the likes of EW), he has a great attitude toward his time in the GFFA. Props also to his former co-stars sticking up for him.

We actually posted it on February 12th over at Jedi News. Great interview, we focussed on the missing scene from ROTS:

I thought both articles were beautiful. I wish that scene was in Sith…

I finally got around to seeing Phantom in 3D (I don’t like 3D as a rule, but who can pass up a chance to see Star Wars in theatres?) My friends and I were all laughing at Jar Jar…and pitying him both in-story (dude just can’t catch a break; I think Boss Nass made him a general hoping he’d get blown up) and in a meta way regarding his unpopular status to the general public.

“I think Boss Nass made him a general hoping he’d get blown up.”
Now that could be stuff for a fanfic. 😉

I think Robot Chicken actually hit the nail on the head. Vader tried to throw him out of an airlock and he just comes back as a Force Ghost.

It says no matter what Jar Jar is here to stay. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

        “Mesa all sparkly-glowy!”

You know what I like? The media starts calling “them” what they are: HATERS.
    Not “fans” or “audience”.

I once saw him in person at the Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles, a few years ago. I was too shy to say anything, but now I wish I had.
