#16 Undeniable Fact About TPM

#16–TPM Turned A Martial Arts Expert Into An Actor

Before TPM came out, Ray Park competed in martial arts tournaments and did some stunt double work in “Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.” It was his skills that got him cast as Darth Maul and while Peter Serafinowicz did the voice, people took note of Park’s abilities to convey, well, menace even when he wasn’t speaking or doing fancy Sith moves. Park’s double work on “Sleepy Hollow” was already in the can but it was his turn as Maul that got Park cast as Toad in “The X-Men.” From there, Park was cast in other action flicks like “Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever” and “G.I. Joe.” He was also had a recurring role on the last season of “Heroes.” Park was recently reprising his role as Snake Eyes in the G.I. Joe sequel.
