Liam Neeson To Reprise Qui-Gon On Clone Wars

No, this isn’t a practical joke. Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn will appear in two Clone Wars episodes, Jan. 28 and Feb. 11:

Risky, my butt, EW. Everybody loves Quiggy! And you just gotta love that Neeson admits he wanted to be a part of Star Wars again.

I’m just amazed this has been kept totally a secret until they let the nexu out of the bag today. Wow!

You know, I really wish Lucas would alter Revenge of the Sith to include the scene with Qui-Gon talking to Yoda through the Force. It was in the comic adaptation and I’m guessing it was in the script, but it never made it into the finished film.

Leave it to that toilet rage EW to dis Star Wars yet again! Why, why does Luscasfilm use them? WHY!

THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!! CAN NOT WAIT!!!! THE GREATEST JEDI BACK!!!!!!!

Hopefully this means Neeson has done some voice work for the up-coming blu-ray set? He was superpose too do voice overs for AOTC but he got into a motor cycle accented, so they used his voice from TPM. I’d love to see the scene with Yoda put back into ROTS. Or at least as a completed deleted scene. I guess they did a test shoot of the scene but decided it worked better on page then on film.

Or…maybe add Qui-Gon to the end of ROTJ?

Oh my goodness yes, yes, a *thousand* times over yes please – oh please, *please* make it so, let’s have Qui-Gon in at the end of ROTJ, taking part in that celebration not just of the victory of the Empire, but also the victory of the *Chosen One* (in whom Qui-Gon had been the first to believe, and thus his greatest champion) and his light, over the darkness…. You’re *so* very right, of course, it’s just in every way fair and befitting for Qui-Gon to be there too, I’ve just always felt so….and, heck, as it is, I swear few things make me happier than when I see video or photo manips on Endor so’s to deservedly, rightfully put Qui-Gon in there too….him, and of course Padme, natchies – really all those who were greatest, best and most guiding in the life of the Chosen One, really it seems only right that they too would be there with him – returned, freed – to celebrate-! 😀 *gets down on bended knee to sincerely petition The Maker to this effect*

“Qui-Gon in at the end of ROTJ”

It could happen. Lucas stated, in I believe, “The Making of Revenge of the Sith” book (awesome…awesome book by the way) that he thought about adding him in when he put Hayden in the end celebrating. I’ve got my fingers crossed. But, I’m not getting my hopes up.
