You’ll Enjoy This Interview

After yesterday’s post on that dopey documentary, here’s something to cheer you up a little. Late last night, I listened to Big Shiny Robot’s podcast interview with James Arnold Taylor, the guy who voices Obi-Wan and Plo Koon on Clone Wars. You’ll love what Taylor has to say about SW in general and the PT in particular. Go check it out!

Great interview! I love, and agree, with his assessment of the PT! I now have and even greater respect for James Arnold Taylor!

Took me a while to listen to this. I friggin’ hate iTunes! But anyway….

    Well done Mr. Taylor.

Though his statement that The Clone Wars brings the ‘romance’ of the original trilogy back into Star Wars, implies that the prequels are devoid of same. But of course there is a danger of over analysing what people say, and forming irrelevant, nonsense conclusions. James clearly enjoys and defends the prequel trilogy, and is enormously thrilled to be voicing Obi-Wan now.

    I think he’s great.

    He gets Kenobi right.

I love it! So, once again, well done…

I didn’t want to read too much into that either. Because the show doesn’t have to focus on Anakin’s fall or the fall of the Republic every episode, it does have less of that feeling of impending doom.

“the ‘romance’ of the original trilogy back into Star Wars”

I over looked that because of everything he said. I too didn’t want “over analyze” what he said. 😉
