*gasp* You mean CW beat out “the smartest sci-fi show ever” and “everything the PT should’ve been and more,” aka “Battlestar Galactica”?

Oh, I forgot. TV ratings and box office grosses mean nothing if it’s SW that is the winner…but mean everything when one of SW’s “rivals” is the winner, like in 2002. Then, we were asked to believe that AOTC “flopped” because it wasn’t #1 at the box office, and even that AOTC’s “poor box office performance” had signaled SW’s death knell.

Heck, we were even asked to believe the flat-out untruth that “The Matrix” bested TPM at the box office, when it grossed less than half of what TPM did. EWeakly was chief in perpetuating that lie.
