Thank you, as always. What can I say? McFarland likes to charge textbook prices for everything, so sorry about that. On the plus side, I know we’re all eagerly awaiting what Eddie called the inevitable “seething, sputtering” Amazon reviews.

Of course, all of the seething and sputtering will come from people who haven’t even read the book! Maybe the ‘textbook price’ will defray some of that…but then again, it wouldn’t be the first or last time that Star Wars “fans” spent money on something they’ve already decided that they’re going to tear apart–those Blu Rays sold pretty well, after all.

Yeah, that is a good point. Like I said, a hundred one star Amazon reviews simply for existing. Maybe SWPAS should take a collection to send Simon Pegg a copy.

I recently discovered this great site and have really enjoyed checking out the articles, comments and links. This news of a book exploring the many themes of the new trilogy is marvelous to hear and I will certainly be purchasing a copy! Any chance of a book signing tour in L.A.?

No, probably not. They do get stuff in brick and mortatr stores, but their main venue is libraries and universities and stuff. International though. I wouldn’t mind CA though.
