Like I said on FB, I’m excited about this book…but there’s something a tiny bit bittersweet about having that mostly uncharted territory of Obi-Wan’s exile finally explored in greater depth. Then again, “Darth Plagueis” did the same for Palps, and that worked out pretty great!

Nice to see them focusing again on more Saga-centric stuff. This should be quite good w/ Ben trying to figure out what went wrong.

Weirdness. I’m sitting in a Waffle House with a signed John Jackson Miller book beside me. That guy follows me everywhere. Met him at Timegate in May, then ran into him in the lobby the last day of CVI. Look forward to this one.

After seeing the concept art, I’m looking forward to it. I can hardly wait!

Finally – a new Star Wars book that I really want to read.. NOW. The post RotS story that resonated the most with me was the first book in theThe Last of the Jedi series.- The Desperate Mission – dealing with Obi-Wan’s first days on Tatooi
ne, acting like we all would – depressed, stunned by betrayal and that he and Yoda didn’t see what was coming in time to prevent it – but also his sadness at losing Anakin to the dark side and initially in the book he believes Anakin is dead.

its gonna be an interesting read on my nook device when it comes out next year. and the beginning of Ben and the ending of Obi-Wan Kenobi in exile on Tatooine. always like to read what’s comes after Episode III.
