On Tuesday, Target (it’s an exclusive) will release an 88-minute director’s cut of the Darth Maul Returns arc from Clone Wars Season 4. That translates to a director’s cut of the previous season’s last four episodes. TFN has more info and a clip.
The whole season will be out on DVD/Blu-Ray later in the fall.

What would be interesting to know is if this “Director’s Cut” would be exclusive to this dvd only or if it would be an option on the blu ray season set.

I believe it said in the new Insider that we’ll be getting a director’s cut on the bluray set. Can’t double check right now, it’s back in storage.

Pick up the DVD last night, Its been re-edited and continuous. Like a movie. Very cool. I’m quite happy with my $10 purchase.
. Don’t know if they’ll do this on the bluray, they’ve always have them as individual episodes.
