Surprisingly, last night’s showing at Celebration of TPM was in 3D! Fans were given exclusive 3D glasses to watch the flick.
Apparently, AOTC was still in 2D but tomorrow is the Future of Star Wars In 3D panel…

Howdy!!! Had a faboo time, still in recovery mode and getting kisses from my pooch -Scottie Skywalker – who missed me. The quality of the 3-D of the AotC clips shown was GREAT!!!! – I really noticed the scenes on Kamino – water, etc -spectacular water, stormy, waves. and the arrival of on Coruscant at the beginning – the Queen’s cruiser had a wing span that shoots right out at ya! Also – the chase on Corsucant…. INCREDIBLE detail, especially as Anakin jumps out of the speeder etc. Problems with this session, though. The participants were not miked properly — AT ALL. You could not hear what was being said plus the host, although obviously prepared, didn’t quite do the right homework, based on the questions he asked and what little I could hear of the responses. John Knoll is an amazing, talent – like the creator of Photo Shop along with all the wonderful things he did for the prequels – but it’s difficult to make technical specs entertaining, and when the questions from the host seemed to go there often, coupled with the poor mikes, well, let’s just say the clips were definitely the highlights in a HUGE way – but it was worth it.

From what I saw online, they looked like neon green Ray Bans with special Celebration packaging.
