I hope some people are taking HD devices — 720p and 1080p recording equipment — to this panel. Modern phones and cameras comfortably offer such a facility; although, there is a snag: you’re often limited to about twenty mins of recording time in 1080p and forty minutes in 720p. Still, modern digital devices offer the chance to document things in good detail, and it would be great to see this something like this up on YouTube in good quality. A few years ago, when GL was interviewed by Jon Stewart, the copies I came across had terrible sound. I’d like to think that that won’t be a problem with whatever happens this time around.

I won’t lie; it’s sad this panel is even necessary in the first place. But until the world just accepts it all as just Star Wars and until prequel mentions aren’t accompanied with the expected bashing, somebody has to stand up for the movies. Lucasfilm people need to see there is a fanbase they’re ignoring. The panel at CV was probably the best of the entire event and not just because it was a pep rally for the PT. It was for once deep discussion of the saga as a whole.
