Where Are The Padme Dolls?

Please do read this from Erika at the Star Wars Shrine. It’s really more about ignoring the female collectors’ market but let’s face it, Padmé gets no love from the collectibles world. (And I’m still waiting for a 12″ Bespin Leia.)

Once I suggested to the Franklin Mint to make a Queen Amidala vinyl doll with a wardrobe suitcase (like the one she had in the movie) with all her outfits and hairpieces. You could dress her in any outfit you choose and the collection could come with instructions for hairstyles. As for her makeup it could be applied with water similar to those Barbie dolls whose makeup appeared with a wipe of the face (or something like that).

SS and Hot Toys have both teased that some Padme’s are in the works. :)
