This warmed my heart. Actually, this and sending in my Memories entry both did.

Wonderful article. I had to chuckle at some of the comments-particularly the last two when someone says that he forgot how the films were a crushing disappointment to his inner child (obviously he didn’t forget), and another person retorts “Oh was your inner child also an entitled little brat?”

Ha! I was the retorter–and that was the *mild* version of what I wanted to write. Not only did I find that guy’s comments insufferable and played-out, but I thought about how rude it was to the author of the article, who was just trying to put something positive into the world about something he *loved*…The commenter could have written, “Not a fan of the prequels, but interesting article”, instead of the typical narcissist hateboy whining that he went with.

Good going! Sometimes I feel all alone on reddit when it comes to having to deal with hateboy problems. Do you know what im talking about at all? Anyone ever been to reddit? Its awful there when it comes to hateboy problems!

Obi-Rob, you’re a braver man than I am–it’s hard for me to even get through a few comments on reddit…it’s like a bunch of kids from 4chan decided that they were now all grown-up, and were under the impression that being “grown-up” equaled being terminally smug.
