Because the clock on WordPress seems to be set to GMT or something, it’s “already” May 18 but still May 17 where I am. But it’s still just a matter of hours until the first SW Prequel Appreciation Day. Since I can’t wear it to work, I wore my Hot Topic TPM shirt on Saturday, heh heh.
Poland’s largest Star Wars fan site has just posted about Prequel Appreciation Day and the Facebook page is up to 320 attendees. Not bad!

I’ll start the day by ordering my tickets to Star Wars in Concert, which just so happens to go sales that morning. Then, my 3/12 year old daughter has a dentist appointment, I have matching TPM t-shirts pick out for the both of us, she LOVES that shirt. The rest of the day I’ll quote as much from the PT as it pops up in everyday conversation, see if anyone catches on. I’ll probably read some old Insider articles, flip through the Making of and Art of books, and end the day by watching the windscreen video theatrical version of TPM. If I have time I’ll pop in the AOTC & ROTS DVD’s. It might not be very exciting, with my other kids in school and my wife at work I’ll do what I can to celebrate!

Already got all three Prequel soundtracks loaded onto my phone. Will be listening all day wednesday. Gonna’ try and watch ‘Menace at least, maybe get ‘Clones and ‘Sith in over the course of the rest of the week.

That’s a grand idea!
Even though it’s ROTS 5th anniversary, it just seems fitting to watch the original theatrical version of TPM on the first SW Prequel Appreciation Day. I think we should keep this going here and there all year through, to keep in people minds. I’ll have to squeeze in a few ROTS web docs. I just watched about an hour of extra features on AOTC this past Sunday. I’ll definitely watch AOTC & ROTS before the end of the month! I just changed up my Sideshow/Gentle Giants display today to depict only the PT in honor of the day!
