November 17, 2009Lucas Online’s attempt to create a MySpace-type social networking service on Yahoo will be shuttered on December 15. All posted material will be deleted and the address will redirect to starwars.com.
The site launched two years ago and it never made it past the Beta stage. Personally, I found it difficult to use and with everybody on some kind of social networking site in the first place, it was a bit redundant. And MySpace is a bit passé now. The party’s moved on to Facebook.
